The Military Menu provides information
about Military Services and Military School attendance and degrees.
The Worldwide Military Locators contain sources for locating
individuals on active duty.
While the Freedom of Information Act allows
access to information such as personal data, present and past
duty assignments, military and civil education level, and current
duty status, the value of this information must be weighed against
a lengthy turnaround of 10-20 weeks.
UCC Filing records a loan or lease obtained
with secured assets. Information provided includes: the debtor
and creditor names and the asset used to secure the loan.
The Vital Statistics Menu provides sources
for Birth, Death, Marriage and Divorce records. This section
also contains information on Medical Examiners Offices. Vital
statistic records can be used to confirm the identity of an individual,
reveal new areas to research regarding additional information,
or aid in locating an individual whose whereabouts are unknown.
The Workers Compensation Menu shows how
to access these valuable records. Information revealed by workers
compensation records can show physical limitations, previous
employers or a history of workers compensation claims.
According to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), employers
can only view this information after a conditional job offer
has been extended to the applicant. The ADA outlines how employers
may use workers compensation information.
An Introductions Menu displays general
information on background investigations. In addition, State
Introductions provide special instructions for working with the
various state agencies. Each introduction includes facts about
records available from a specific state as well as tips about
that States public records.
